KYC Policy

Our KYC Policy describes identity verification requirements. It applies to all Betamina players. See also Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy and AML Policy.

This KYC Policy describes how Aymora Group Ltd ("Betamina", "we", "our" or "us") verifies the identity of its players, in compliance with "Know Your Customer" (KYC) principles, in order to prevent financial crime and money laundering. You can also review our Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, AML Policy, Withdrawal Policy and Refund Policy.

Betamina is operated by Aymora Group Ltd, a company registered in Belize under commercial registration number 000053733, with registered address at San Victor Street, Orange Walk Town, Belize. Betamina holds an online gaming license issued by the Government of the Autonomous Island of Anjouan, Union of the Comoros.

1. KYC documentation requests

The Company reserves the right to request, at any time, the KYC documentation it deems necessary to determine the identity and location of a user on betamina.com (the "Website"). We may restrict service, payments or withdrawals until the user's identity is verified, or for any other reason at our sole discretion, in accordance with the applicable legal framework.

2. Risk-based approach

We adopt a risk-based approach and apply strict due diligence controls, alongside continuous monitoring of all our customers and transactions. In line with anti-money laundering regulations (AML), we apply three levels of due diligence, depending on the risk profile, the transaction and the customer type.

3. SDD — Simplified Due Diligence

Simplified Due Diligence applies to extremely low-risk transactions that do not meet the thresholds that require enhanced verification. It involves basic identification checks.

4. CDD — Customer Due Diligence

Customer Due Diligence is the standard verification level applied in most cases. It includes identity verification, proof of address and ongoing player activity monitoring.

5. EDD — Enhanced Due Diligence

Enhanced Due Diligence applies to high-risk customers, large-volume transactions and special cases. It includes additional verifications, source-of-funds review and specific approval.

6. When full KYC applies

The full KYC process is mandatory when any of the following conditions occurs:

  • The user accumulates aggregated lifetime deposits exceeding 5,000 USD.
  • The user requests a withdrawal of any amount on the Website.
  • The user attempts or completes a transaction considered suspicious.

In any of these cases, the user must complete all the steps described below before being able to operate normally.

7. Required documents

During the KYC process, the user must upload the following documents:

  1. Copy of a government-issued photo ID (in some cases, front and back, depending on the document).
  2. Photo of the holder holding the same ID document (selfie with ID).
  3. Bank statement or utility bill as proof of address.

8. Proof of identity

The ID document submitted must meet the following requirements:

  1. Document signed by the holder.
  2. The issuing country must not appear on the Restricted Countries list (see section 11).
  3. The full name on the document must match the name registered on the customer's account.
  4. The document must have a minimum validity of 3 months at the time of verification.
  5. The holder must be over 18 years old.

9. Proof of address

The proof of address (bank statement or utility bill) must meet the following requirements:

  1. Official document issued by a banking institution or utility service provider.
  2. The country of residence must not appear on the Restricted Countries list (see section 11).
  3. The full name must match the customer's name and be identical to the ID document submitted.
  4. The document must have been issued less than 3 months ago.

10. Selfie with ID

The selfie with ID must meet the following requirements:

  1. The holder must be visually identical to the holder of the ID document submitted in section 8.
  2. The ID document held in the selfie must be exactly the same as the one submitted as "Proof of identity". Ensure that the photo and the document number match and are legible.

11. Restricted Countries

The following jurisdictions are restricted both as the issuing country of the ID and as the player's country of residence:

  • Austria
  • France and its territories
  • Germany
  • Netherlands and its territories
  • Spain
  • United Kingdom
  • United States and its territories
  • Union of the Comoros
  • All countries on the FATF blacklist (Financial Action Task Force).
  • Any other jurisdiction considered prohibited by the Anjouan Offshore Financial Authority.

This list may be updated at any time due to regulatory requirements. Registering or attempting KYC verification from any of these jurisdictions may result in account blocking and forfeiture of funds related to the operation, in accordance with our Terms and Conditions.

12. Notes on the KYC Process

  1. If the KYC process is unsuccessful, the reason is documented and an internal support ticket is generated. The user is provided with the ticket number along with an explanation of the next steps or the reasons for the rejection.
  2. Once all required documents are received and approved, the account is verified and the operational restrictions associated with the pending KYC are lifted.
